I just received a notice from Bell Mobility that they are increasing the System Access Fee from $6.95/month to $8.95/month after Sept 30th.
They give the usually BS about costs and upgrades and they admit in small print "The System Access Fee is not required by nor collected for the government".
Are your carriers doing it too? If they are not, then wait for it.

I heard a while ago that the system access fee is a crock of shit, and apparently the CRTC is supposed to get them to refund all cell subscribers the money they've paid over the years. Don't ask me when...I saw it on the news within the last year or so.
