Before I die - 10 sporting events I want to go to

As I approach my 4th decade, I've come to the realization that I've had a great life.


Great but still hollow.......there's more I need to do........

I've decided (along with 2 of my monkey friends) that we will put a list together of 10 or 15 sporting events we'd want to attend.

The problem is where to go? What to do?

So.....I decided ask terbites. What sporting event do you think would be worthwhile to see, even just once?

So far - there's a couple we're looking into..

- a Raiders game, preferrably with a seat near or in the Raider Nation crowd
- a Leaf Stanley Cup game (i know, i know....)
- A Duke / North Carolina game
- a soccer game in Mexico City with the National team playing
- Manchester United / Arsenal game

Any others guys?

Hopefully the quest for the complete sporting holiday list will start next January.

n_v...I was thinking Daytona 500 - I think the NASCAR fans will be funnier.


Plus, part of the "criteria" was to represent as wide a variety as possible on this quest. Not too many of one thing.

Attending the FIFA World Cup would easily top my list.

Next in line would be watching an Arsenal vs ManU game.

After that, I would go for the UEFA Champions League, followed by the Euro.

Basically any soccer game overseas...I went to Roma/Celtic, it was good but I imagine anything in Europe would be 8765 times better...

An afternoon game at Wrigley Field, Busch Stadium and Chavez Ravine (Dodger Stadium). Did the Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park thing a couple of years ago. Also attended one of the last games at Tiger Stadium. I also would love to attend a Notre Dame football game.

that is not that popular that you have seen or been at
that was a hidden gem
mine would be
the bean pot hockey tourny
in boston
was visiting there 5 years ago
it is a mini college hockey tourny
between the 4 local boston universities
2 semi finals and 1 final game
it was amazing the kids play like it is game 7 of the nfl finals

ok - Wrigley Field is probably in - a seat with the bleacher creatures.

Hmmmm The Fighting Irish...good one, but; one of the guys already has his heart set on sitting in with the Raider Nation.
