of course cell phones cause cancerous tumours. if hi-voltage power lines 150' up in the air can cause leukemia in families of homes 500' away from the towers and there are restrictions in place for where tv and radar antennas could be placed to avoid human exposure to concentrated radio and micro waves... cell phones are alot more powerful and concentrated near the body.

The good news, if there is any, is that the amount of power being emitted by cellphones has decreased very rapidly over the years as technology improves.

So, as usage of cellphones has generally increased over the years, the total absorbed energy in the head hasn't increased at the same rate (and might have decreased for many).
