I guess J.P. is not the only one who throws money around like an idiot.... in my opinion the Giants are doing Bonds a favour in what has to be his last season they could have signed him for less money than that

his career is over, he is turning 43 next year and his reputation has forever been tarnished......

He still had a very good season last year. His OBP is still amazing and I beleive he had a .500 SLG.

Relative to his other seasons, it was a down year, but last year he was one hell of an effective offensive player.

But given injury risk, and defence, I was expecting somewhere between 7-11M
