Barbershop shave

Does anyone know where in western GTA a guy can get an actual shave?

Of those that have experienced a barbershop shave, would you recommend sending a groom/ushers to one the morning of a wedding?

You need to find some little corner Italian barbershop, there are still some around...

Comb and Scissors - 2 Jackson Ave, two blocks east of Bloor and Royal York. Tony also has a nice classic barber's chair.

There's an Italian Barbershop at Runnymede and Bloor. Just south of Bloor.
Had a shave there, they're excellent.

Best shave in the city is in the underground mall under the Royal York Hotel.

On Spadina North of Dupont

There is a little one man shop on Spadina just north of Dupont. If I remember right his name is Bruno. He has been serving the Forest Hill crowd for years. An old timer tradtional barber.

morning of a wedding, no.
reason, after a shave, the face is slightly red in colour because of the abrasion from shaving. unless it's 6am, which will give it some time to cool down.

not good for the photographer, learned that in class and in books.

luckily i never had to take pictures of any guys lol

There's a russian barber with a straight razor at the Glen Sheilds Plaza. Just west of Dufferin, north of Steeles.

I'mnot far from there Ill have to check that one out. Sometiems its nice to have a professional shave once in a while hehe.

Sasso in Brampton have a few hot hairdressers to look at while the Italian barbers ply their trade

Thanks for the information! I wouldn't have considered color. Also, thanks all for the different options. Maybe I'll try a few of the downtown locations.
