banned from chat

The system needs to be tweaked by the moderator to eliminate the constant popups and to restrict usage of the moderator functions.
As I recall last night you were being picked on by babygotback@perb who was using the ban and ignore functions against you gratuitously. It appears that no restrictions have been set to differentiate between chat members and moderators. Anyone can ban anyone.

I was there earlier and i didnt recognize it with alll the changes that merged -it seemed to work though
maybe they are having probs with chat again
whawhawha you mean to say that one member from chat has the right to ban you chatting with others ? why cant they just ignore ?

The right? No. The ability? Yes. This is not how chat systems are supposed to operate, but it is up to the system's mods and admins to make sure the system is installed with the options set appropriately to allow for normal use by all members. Some of these options have not been set yet, but I'm sure they will be soon. In the mean time, expect some people to take liberties. Since the options are available, it becomes a matter of individual choice.Alexis696969 said:

The major glitches include that the chat cannot differeniate who is a mod and who isn't, which means everyone has the power of mods. It is being worked on and should be up in the near future. As for people that got banned by misusers of this power, I guess shoot a PM to the Mod of your choice and report who banned you and that it was just a mistake.
Funny thing is when the chat isn't available everyone bitches. Once the chat is back, almost everytime I go no one is there. Funny how things work...

LOL I banned and got banned and not by a MOD. They may keep it and just put a timer on it like a timeout or the dreaded Penalty Box...
