AVAST Error Popup

Ever since I increased the RAM from 1GB to 1.5GB on my computer, I keep getting the following AVAST popup.

avast.setup - Application Error

The instruction at "0x004c5ac2" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Ok Cancel

Why is this happening and what do I need to do? I tried clicking on "Cancel" but I still keep getting this popup.

Guys, a little help, please. These annoying popups are driving me nuts. Why are they happening?

Avast is pretty good.
I would uninstall and reinstall Avast again.
That should solve your issue.
