Holy smokes!

But I must say, if you enter information like that unsolicited, you almost deserve to be scammed.

I said almost.

This is a really bad one!!!

...if you receive an e-mail from: security_admin@yahoo.com with a link to the following site. DON'T respond!!! This site is fraudulent!!! I never seen something that vicious.

http://203.232.101.125:3344/config/..._support=yes&verificate=yes&DB=no&res=success

...I was talking to Yahoo! and they said that only e-mails from yahoo-inc.com are legitimate. Please if you receive an e-mail like this forward it to: abuse@yahoo-inc.com.
If you're dumb enough to give your banking information to a free service you deserve what's going to happen.

I think the reason why so many e-mail viruses, nigerian money scams, etc are still around is because of all the bloody hand-holding our society permits.

You touch a hot steve and get a vicious burn. You learn and remember it. You don't touch the stove again.

Cheers,

DonAngelo; Thankyou.

the offending entry [absolute ip address specified] has been screened out at the router level by ALL networks that I am responsible for. We have independently verified your finding and therfore find it to be credible. [authentication is the basis of all good science]

Thankyou. you have been of assistance to my client base. :)

May I buy you a beer one day?

...you're welcome CyberGoth! ...maybe you can buy me a beer at the next x-mas party? ;-)

The issue is really how many cloned web sites are out there. I'm extremly cautious, especially when it comes to renewing domain names. I get renewal notices left, right and center and it's really hard to figure out if they are legit or not.
