I am now there....blow the team up, trade off your best guys for the high draft choices that have been squandered for years. Get Brian Burke or someone with his balls in here and bite the bullet for 2 years.

BUT, they have to get someone with some balls, and let the person do whatever they need to do to make the team a competitor, and be insulated from the politics, or at least be able to tell the politicians to fuck themselves. Burkie could do that, likewise Bowman, Likewise Mark Messier....
As a season ticket holder, I am now declaring that I would be very happy watching a good group of mostly young guys work their assses off every single night, develop pride as a team, and become competitive....
Like Tampa '04-'05, or Carolina '05-'06, or Anaheim '06-'07....wait a minute...did'nt ALL those teams win the cup with this same template?
