When the tweet just contradicts the content of the video, it's hard to comment on anything, other than the agenda of whoever wrote the tweet. What the speaker attempted to argue (not very well, in my opinion) is that selectively supporting specific activities/sectors is not the same as "trickle down economics". I think that's correct. However, it IS governments picking winners and losers, and governments are just terrible at doing that. Trickle down economics actually makes more sense. I wouldn't want any government to be in charge of deciding which industries should be subsidized/supported, and which not, based on some political agenda.
