I've used the BP ads in Toronto recently and find them very very hit and miss, probably way more miss than hit. I've now sworn never to see SPs in Toronto unless I take the time to thoroughly do my research. The last 2 I saw have been bloody awful so yes beware of SPs on Toronto BP.
There are probably 10 times more excellent SP's in Toronto than in Ottawa, any given day.
That said, there are probably 10 times more shady SP's.
If you do your research and have experience hobbying in Toronto, you will find some one great (not just okay, but grrat) every day at pretty much any time. No "droughts" like we have here.
But, if you don't do your research, chances are you'd get screwed. Not that different than when I was new to the Ottawa scene.
My last two years in Toronto, I hobbied regularly, rarely the same SP, and pretty much scored a 10 every time.
But i paid my dues my first year and learned. First year in Ottawa was rough too. It's better now that I know industry.
But, I find I have to wait around for someone good (mostly mgf) girls.... Whereas in Toronto, I can score a good SP anytime I'm in the mood pretty much.
I use Ma's a lot more in Ottawa to fill the gaps. I still find I score good SP's every time I'm in Toronto. However, I rarely see Ma's in Toronto. The few times I did, use to be decent.
Lately it's been bad. Even had a bad experience at Platinum Spa by Downsview... Maybe the recession has led to a lot of inexperienced Ma's into Toronto MA industry?
