I've got a Macbook and played around with boot camp a bit. Got XP working but still ended up restoring the Macbook to original condition. I found that I didn't like booting solely into one OS. I use OSX a great deal as well as XP, so shutting one down to get the other became a nuissance. Now, I run Parallels and XP has been terrific on there. Highly recommend you try it, if it's an option for you.

Another thing you might check with your boot camp install, assuming you want to pursue that route, is to be certain your install disk is XP SP2. If you have just XP, you'll have to find another disk or slipstream/burn your own.

Hey skihrdr,

hows it going??

thanks for the reply man.

i kindof figured that it would have been the cd that was my problem.
but anywho, i am waiting for another version of XP and i was told that parallels is good, but how good is it for gaming?? i figure with a machine like this the games should run perfectly.

anyways, thanks once again for the reply.

take care,

Parallel is not for gaming as it emulates the video. IF you run from boocamp you get the Graphics running at speed.
The other thing to look at is Crossover. It looks pretty good but is still in beta. You need to do the gaming on either an iMac, Mac Pro or Power Mac the video support in the MacBook and the Mini are not very good for gaming.
Just an FYI i have Vista RC1 installed on a MacBook and it seems ot be running fine. I also installed the Office 2007 betas and Visio and Project run fantastically as well as the basic office products running as expected.
