I'm not a big auto racing fan but I am planning to check out the race today. Should be a cool event.

Anyone else gonna be watching?

Open wheel racing (Indy and F1) isn't exactly a hillbilly thing...and aren't you the guy who is giving us daily updates on the critters living on your farm? Pot, meet kettle....
never said a word aboot open wheel racing, just mentioned Lakeshore Blvd as a place to watch cars going nowhere fast 24/7.
Nascar certainly is hillbilly. Who else except a brain cell deficient home brew soaked idiot could find an oval track were guys spend a hot sweaty afternoon going, "Right turn Clyde" entertainment?
As far as the critter reports go, I'm a retired gentleman nonurbanist. No still. No rotted out pickup. Didn't marry my brothers sister. No dirt floor shack. I do like some Blue Grass tunes.

You referred to racing fans as hillbillies. You compared Indy 500 to traffic on the Lakeshore. I am not a fan of Indy or NASCAR but at least I do not criticize it and then deny my criticism three posts later.
In your defence though, I also have critters roaming my property and I enjoy telling others about them, but that does not in any way make me a hillbilly. The fact that I make my own beer in my shed is coincidental.
