Anyone watched "Under the Dome"?

A friend recommended it to me, and I've watch the first two eps. Seems like watered down science fiction with a Lost wannabe vibe and a dash of teen romance thrown in for market share. Does it get any better?

Yes, I rank it in the middle as far as watchablity, characters, and plot. will it last for another season, meh.

It won't last more than a few episodes - stupid show, no good looking hotties - ok only one, the sheriff. Psycho kid keeping girl down in the bunker. Why haven't they run our of air, food, gas yet?

Yeah, again I have not seen much of it yet, but the tiny population (cast) makes me wonder how they keep drama going. Unless they pull extra people out of their ass like Lost did.

Agreed also that the females are largely underwhelming.

It;s getting better.ABC had to learn the same lesson NBC had to learn with "REVOLUTION".If your going to have a end of the world as we know it scenario, you'd better be prepared to have it gritty and violent or else your going to learn very quickly that TWD is ten times better then you are.It clicks it up a notch in episode 4 and the actors seem to be growing into their parts.Many of the actors I thought were dead wood have disappeared and each episode seems to be getting better.

I can't watch any "serious" TV show that takes its concept from The Simpsons Movie.
