Sits in a corner all alone
I know there are some HD Tuner cards out there and was wondering if anyone has tried using them. I am looking to build a PC with an HD Tuner card so I can use as a PVR and get rid of the Rogers one that I currently rent from them (tried to get an extra year free of PVR rental and they said no).

Ideas would be nice!!

What I found out by asking others, but need to verify here:

- Hardware requirements may be a lot higher due to HD resource requirements
- HD Signal compatibility with Bell and Rogers may be an issue meaning that most HD cards may not work here.

Has anyone actually attempted to build their own HD PVR?

didn't rebuild my pvr, but broke open my bev 9200 and removed the hard drive and installed a larger one so i could save more hd porn... the h.264 codec is how HD is stored on the bev pvr and your ipod can read directly off of their hard drive! pretty cool...
