Does anyone know her name? Her accent is so heavy that I cannot understand what she is reporting.
Definitely New Zealand accent. Does CTV realize she is really difficult to be understood in Canada?

Maybe Mina Kerr Lazenby?
BC based CTV stuff and digital media.
So might have got her media start here without anyone hearing her.

I spent 3.5years working in Australia.
And after a couple of years I could pick out the Kiwi accent from the Oz one.
It is almost like they speak like they have a wider tongue.

This is the CTV news lady I am referring to.
Very heavy New Zealand accent. Very difficult to understand what she is saying.
Duffy is her last name.

Akshay Tandon, of CTV news is also very difficult to understand. I switch to CP24 everytime
I hear him or Duffy mentioned above. Much nicer listening to Lindsay Biscaia, Sijac Liu, Courtney Heels, Lyndsay Morrison, etc.

I can't stand Olivia Chow's thick chinese accent, (I went to school with classmates who are Canadian born chinese and they speak the same as her, I tell them they are pronuncing words wrong , they reply , "No I don't. lol) makes me cringe. She does not pronounce most consonants.

eg. "School" is pronounced as "Skoo"
"Comfortable" as "Comforable"
"Accessible" as "Accessibo"

Nice hat. Can't really judge until I hear her say "I love you long time".
