LMAO! I was wondering the same thing dcb! Even if it "tastes" OK, it just can't be "good"... A heart attack waiting to happen! But hey, that's just my opinion... to each their own.dcbogey said:There's such a thing as "good poutine"???
Ashton. said:Personally I like it when it's greasy and runny and genereally just looks pretty gross. New York fries usually does the trick lol. They made a good one in my high school cafeteria too
Now now, I said HAD a good one lol. Which was meant to mean WHEN I attended high school lol. I am definately past that. And don't worry, i'm not a huge junk food fan. I'm more an exercise and vegetables fan. I maybe eat New York fries twice a year in a weak moment lol. Although I do have a serious weakness for mini pizza's...eldoguy said:Ashton stay away from that junk food! Don't ruin that beautiful figure!
Btw I was going to visit you, not now because you still attend high school, dam!
Potatoes, gravy, cheese curds => seems pretty natural to me?Cycleguy007 said:Fat is not the issue tboy... its the bad calories. And by that I mean "synthetic" as in not natural.
Natural Fat does NOT metabolize on the human body as fat. Sugar, and synthetic overly processed foods do. By that I mean anything that is NOT natural. (Just look on an ingredients listing to see what I mean...)
I agree that a burger from a fast food joint is also not healthy, but there's nothing wrong with a steak- high in protein, and natural fat, and natural cholesterol all of which the human body needs and is designed to process.
It is the synthetic foods, e.g. processed anything that the body IS NOT designed to process, and that is where the problems start.
Eat natural and in moderation & you CAN'T go wrong. If you eat a lot of processed foods (containing synthetic calories) - well have a look in the mirror to find the effects of that. When your young and active the effects are not that noticeable, but as age and inactivity catch up to you... well you know the rest.

tboy said:Ah Lick's and Harvey's don't have poutine, they have cheese curds and gravy. That ain't poutine.
Potatoes... OK... But what's in the gravy, and cheese curds...OddSox said:Potatoes, gravy, cheese curds => seems pretty natural to me?
So, since i've clearly never had a "real" poutine, can someone clarify what the diffferance is lol?alexmst said:Agreed. I had the "poutine" at Licks and it wasn't really poutine - I was disappointed.
