Anyone interested in a VIP Card for Jason's???

I was wondering if it is allowed to post "hobby" related items for sale here?
I have a VIP card for Jason's in Kanata I would like to sell.
The card gives you no cover for you and your guests. I have used it many times for as many as 10 people in my group with no problem.

I was thinking $50. I was giving to me by the original owner who is a friend of mine. I have had it since the day Jason's opened.
It has no expiry date and is honored but the new owner who bought the club at the end of April.

I last used it on Friday night with no problems at all with me and 5 friends.

The only reason I ever really went was to see my friend who owned the place but since he sold it, I will not be dropping by.

No that is why he gave me the VIP card so I would not have to ask for him at the door everytime. I would just show the card and go on by.

yawn. 50bucks makes sense for someone who often goes to jasons with buddys.. hell.. we've gone 12-15guys at once a couple times..


hell. if we didn't already have vip at the normal clubs we frequent. if i could, then i'd buy one for 50bucks in a second. we've bribed bouncers 20bucks a head for 10+people many a time.

no validity in knocking buddy for asking 50bucks for a vip card.

Hey! So what he's asking $50 for it? True he got it free but usually, you can't buy these cards: your chances of getting one depends on who you know. I don't go to Jason but if it would be my regular place, I say the same as Too2Shy, for $50, I'd be interested also. It would be paid for in a month or two max.

Now the risk is that maybe the new owner will stop taking it but really, if you get inthere with a bunch of buddies, likely you will have more than a few drinks each so, why would he care to loose $3 door fee per guy? He'll make it up on drinks plus he have a chance that some of your buddies who don't have card will become regulars.

It's called marketing: the more the customer feel important (VIP card, special treatment...) the more he will enjoy the club. The more the customer enjoy the club, the more he will recommend it to friends or take them to visit. Some of the customer's friend will likely like the place enough to put it on their list of place to visit again so, the more money the owner will make. It's a win-win for all.

That's a good point about waving the door fee & marketing. Jason's gives free entrance with your game night Sens ticket stub... I think the only night's I've gone there is after a Sens game!

I am not ripping off or taking advantage of anyone. Nor am I being selfish. Everyone here is an adult and can think for themselfs.
But just to end this garbage, whom ever thinks they can get good use out of this VIP card, PM me and it's yours for free.

I think you should keep it rather than give it away for free... you never know when you may use it again. You posted here to sell it, there's nothing wrong with that, don't let one person(who isn't going to buy it anyway) change your goal.

XSOFSX, it's your choice! I don't think asking $50 is selfish or a ripoff. It's your property and you dispose of it the way you want.
How you got it in the first place is irrelevent (since you got it in a legal way from your owner friend, this is all that matter)

This card have no price since it's unavaliable on the market so, whatever some like it or not, if you figure it's worth $50 and somebody take it, then all is good. You made an honest proposal, the price is clear, the status of the card and club is clear and how you got it is clear so, if anybody is interested, all facts are avaliable to make an intelligent decision. If for them, it's worth $50 then they'll take it, if not, they'll leave it.

I tend to agree with Glava, instead of giving it away for free, keep it for yourself. If the club was good with you when your friend was there and is still good now, why would you stop going? It's true, the place is nice before/after a Sens game!
