I've stopped smoking, but my gut issues have started acting up which I believe lean towards gluten and I found smoking helped with that. Not sure how well the oils will do, but hoping they help out. My diet in general is balanced with a bit of junk stuff and processed things here or there, but I'm hoping the oils help otherwise I'll have to pretty much fully stop eating those things.

Anyone here try the oils more specifically for like gut inflammation?

I use thc oil for insomnia and it's very helpful. I've never heard anything about it's effectiveness for gut issues. You might want to consult a cannabis clinic because if you want to try oils they require a prescription.

I bought tinctures I'll see how they go. Otherwise I'll reach out to a clinic nearby and see how the oils perform. Just a Google search about something like celiac disease and weed had a few topics on R that seemed what I was going through also and they stated smoking did help with those issues usually. It's nice if the inflammation goes away otherwise stuck eating a lot less junk when I already do it very little, but I've noticed wheat is also an issue for me and I'm not a huge fan of the gluten free products out there like pasta. Would still like to eat a pizza here or there at times which is generally like once or twice a month for me.

I use CBD oil on occasion for pain and inflammation. It works very well at first but I find after daily use for a few months it looses it's effectiveness. I find I often go three months on three months off with CBD oil

I'll have to test it out. So far I only took one drop but for my weight I might need two. Haven't had any gluten stuff so far today so I'll see. If it's similar to you where it's working for a few months then stops I don't mind fully stopping gluten for those months.

Before you act on johns on a hooker board medical advice on CBD (which there is little reviewed evidence for many of the claims that it will CURE <x,y,z> I'd suggest going to see your Doctor about getting some blood work done and maybe if you can find the right test, a DNA test to see about your genetic allergies etc.

Having said that... if your gut health issues are metabolic in nature (vs mechanical like reflux due to a hiatus hernia for example) then I'd suggest doing some of your own research on the importance of a diverse gut biome. Antibiotics, too much sugar, low fibre diet etc can throw it off.

Probiotics that you get in fermented foods like saurkraut, fermented pickles, miso, kim-chi will help get your gut biome more diversified. Some unpasteurized hard cheeses from grass fed cattle are probiotic too. Kefir, natural yogurt. fermented yogurt-like drinks are also good but high in sugars that can have anerobic bacteria taking over. The probiotic capsules are good but you don't need to take them every day. Once you start the process of restoring the gut biome, the bacteria and other flora take over. You just want to have higher fiber fruits and veggies as "prebiotic" foods are needed for the good bacteria to feed on.

I had to rebuild my gut biome a few years back after taking a round of Azithromycin (broad spectrum, powerful antibiotic). My farts could have gagged a maggot!

My doc told me about the importance of a diverse gut biome and how to rebuild it. I was, and am, astonished at how it can help or fuck up so many things you would not think are related.

One final thought. If CBD is the active drug that addresses gut issues, vaping it will give the highest (safe) uptake of the active ingredients. And taking an oil might cause your gut to overproduce acid that could give you an uncomfortable gut.

I vape high-CBD/low THC extract with the typical 510 cartridge to help with insomnia. But all it does is make me high.. and give me severe munchies. Higher and worse than high THC carts.

Grow your own pot, then cook it with coconut oil and strain. Keep in fridge. Google the exact procedure.... good for stomach and insomnia.

Cbd oil helps to a point but it doesn't do everything. I was using it more than usual to combat a migraine, and it made me sick to my stomach.

MD gave me prescription for marijuana for pain. Marajuana was mailed to me

My MD admitted he is constantly high on marajuana microdose as it elevates his mental acuity
but I know of no studies that verify his claim

Proponents of CBD oil and other CBD products claim that it can be used to treat conditions such as chronic pain, inflammation, migraines, epilepsy, autoimmune diseases, depression, and anxiety.

Research into some of these claims is ongoing, and there is still a lot about CBD that we don't know.

I know of no contraindication (harm) to CBD but THC gets you high and I hate that feeling
as it causes anxiety and makes me stupid like WTF so I went back to Md and told him and he said it causes anxiety in a small percentage of users. Like WTF he should of warned me as anxiety is no small issue. I will never do THC again ever

So I went to a dope store and was told it is impossible to get CBD without THC in it,
but the closest product to zero THC is the gummies

I'm trying a 15:15 which is pretty high in THC and CBD and so far take less than 0.5ml of it a day when I feel like taking it for any gut issues, back I've also cut back on junk more than I already have which has helped big time. Once I'm done with this bottle which should last a while since it's 30ml there's a few I found at local shops here that have less than 0.001 or so THC so I'll try those. I prefer the oils over the CBD capsules I've also tried earlier this year.
