Anyone here know how to strengthen a Bell Turbo stick?

A neighbour asked me to help his mother out with her Bell Turbo stick for her laptop.
Essentially, she has a very strong signal on the west side of her apartment,, now she'd like to continue having that same signal strength in the north part of her apartment, but she doesn't.
Keep in mind, it's a monsterous house (10 car garage, tons of rooms, etc) built like a tank. So I'm assuming a lot of her problem with signal strength may be interference with the house itself or maybe it is the Bell tower and it's just not reaching as well in the north end of her apartment as it is in the west end.

But I can't figure out anything other than a router, but I don't know of any that have USB ports that you could plug the turbo stick into?

Probably house interference. Sometimes just relocating or moving the router around may solve this.

A Bell Turbo stick is essentially a cell phone.

No idea if these are any good or not.
There may be other/better options - this popped up first in Google.

In the States, cellular providers sell femtocells which is what the above are but reviews seem to be less than glowing.

Wood, no router at the moment, since this is one of those Internets-on-a-USB stick type deals from the cell carrier.

Can', she said if it was too expensive an option she would probably just get regular internet via cable/dsl for 6 months - the other 6 she's in her summer home in Quebec somewhere.
$400 is a bit pricey, but it does seem like there aren't many options really.

Ya, it'll be cheaper to just subscribe to Cogeco for 6 months at $200 with solid service.
