I saw the Galaxy S2 yesterday for the first time in action, HOLY SHIT that screen is huge and it's a fast little (big) phone.
Did the screen take any getting used to? I love the speed of it an all its other capabilities, but I'm not sure on the screen size.
Although, surfing on it was pretty slick, being able to see a nice chunk of the sites.

I have the Samsung S2 and LOVE IT!! best phone I ever had. my iPhone 4 is not even close to the enjoyment i get from the bigger screen and customization. iPhone slowed down with the iOS5 update and now has a screen stutter that wasn't there before and I am suffering from the battery issue. The Samsung is silky smooth and even displays flash without problems or slowdown.
I have yet to run out of juice, I charge nightly but it's never below 25% usually more, so far no need for a second battery but it's good to know it's an option.

The sheer size of the screen doesn't bother them? B/C fuck me it's huge. lol
I like the Galaxy S now, just not sure if I'll get used to that size or like it.

No problems with the screen size itself, for pockets?

What kind of resolution are you looking for? For what purposes?
The iPhone4S and Galaxy S2 are pretty damn nice if you ask me.
What more could you possibly want (need) it for?

I have to say, I like Apple's case design on the 4S, but the screen looks better on the GalaxyS2 even though the resolution is better on the iPhone (technically), but you'd have to look real hard to see the difference.
Maybe the Galaxy's screen looks better because it's a SUPER AMOLED display as opposed to Apple's screen, whatever it is....they don't say what it is, so....

Fits in my back pocket completely.

As for screen size (size of phone), I have medium sized hands so I can't reach the unlock button with one hand if I hold it in it's "natural" position. If the unlock/power button was a bit lower towards the middle it would be perfect.

Other than that I like it...mind you my previous phone was the 1st BB Storm.

no problems for me and even feels less bulky than my iPhone4 and I LOVE the larger screen. removed my thoughts of getting a tablet to take on the road.

Quite the leap from Storm to the S2, nice leap though. lol
I have no doubts about it fitting in any pocket, but do you find it to be too big and bulky at all? Or is it fine?
The screen is large, but they made up for it but slimming it down and cutting its weight a bit, that I know.

The next iphone is forced to play catch up in terms outside design now.

Meaning the first thing is a bigger screen.

Not bulky at all...just took some getting used to from the Storm.

Don't sit down with the phone in your back pocket :)

It is larger, but lighter than the iphone. Fits nicely in my pants side pocket. A little too thin that makes it easy to lose grip, but ever since I put a case (makes it even bigger) it never slips out of my hand anymore. The battery life sucks, but download an app called "juice defender", my battery last about 2 days because of it. Make sure to turn off wi-fi, bluetooth, gps when not using it, because these consumes a lot of your battery.

Great UX overall. I really like this phone. I've used the iphone 4 and 4s before, I think the S2 is much better. If you haven't got the S2, I would just wait for the Galaxy Nexus to come out...
