I've been talking to some friends about high yield investment programs that a lot of people have been putting money into.

if anyone's got any experience with them I'd like to know more.
some of the returns just seem too good to be true, but people are making a ton of cash. I'm still skeptical though. they sound like pyramids to me.

if you've ever invested in any online forex trading , or know of a good website where I can read up on this please let me know.

High yield investments are typically debt investments that return a higher yield for added risk. They used to be called junk bonds until the 87 crash. Came back as high yield or non-investment grade. Now far far more prevalent than in the 80s and were what were used to achiev all the massive buyouts by private equity groups in the last few years. Also known as covanent-light loans as they have fewer restrictions. They are the next defaults that we see as the recession takes hold. Some of those big, levered, high priced acquisitions are going bye bye sooner than later. Its the cycle. The bulls are out and the pigs feed at the troughs until the bears come back.

You don't get high yield without high risk. If you can stomach the risk, though, now might not be a bad time. NOBODY, but NOBODY wants to touch anything backed by a mortgage these days and that may mean there are some really good deals out there for guys with cast iron stomachs.

Fuji, you may be right BUT unless you have a Phd in derivatives, most investors will have no idea about what they are actually buying. That is the crux of the current subprime mess some find themselves in.

I guess if you get in early enough , you could make some money.

but it'll probably be at the expense of your friends and family, since they'll inevitably dump cash into it if you made money, and then they'll be the ones at risk of losing when it crashes.
