Perhaps if you compare with independents...but the indies don't typically run a business establishment (working out of their appartment isn't the same thing). If you compare to other spas, they are equal or cheaper: 30 mins - $130, 45 mins - $160, 60 mins - $180 etc.... Note that at CMJ you always know what the total cost is for the time you want. At other spas, it seems that the tip is always the same (typically $100 for nude with bodyslide), whether it is for 30, 45 or 60 minutes, the only variable is the door fee. Seems to me the MAs at those spas have all the incentive to make you pop as fast as possible and move on to the next customer, that just doesn't happen at CMJ. As for your comment on higher service, well, for 200 you get an hour with an sp from most agencies or from indies...most can also give you a decent massage too lol!
It is one of the higher priced providers but delivers good value. Their place has a sensual vibe that is unique in Ottawa. Location is private and always feels like it's just you and the MA when visiting. Pricing is simple and flexible (I often go for 75 or 90 minutes). And even with turnover, there's always someone there I like. I see other providers but CMJ will always have some of my business.
I agree with everything said by Boomer. Actually I'd say that the CMJ rates are more than competitive. If you're strapped for cash, try 30 minutes... great way to meet new MAs at a more than competitive price. Damn, reminds me I have to get to the new east end location...... that was the only drawback for me, Hunt Club is kinda far but no excuse now !!
CMJ offers 30 minute sessions? What is the damage? I have only ever heard of 60 minute sessions for $160 (and that is from an old thread...so no idea if that is still accurate or not). The website has a veil of secrecy in front of it, so no mention of fees there either. The only mention anywhere of costs are in the welcome email stating that it is $200 + HST membership fee (I assume one time). Perhaps the old adage applies "if you need to ask how much then you probably can't afford it..."

Anyone who has followed my career in Ottawa can attest to the fact that I have personally contributed to the overall increase in professionalism that Ottawa enjoys today by being a leader in setting the standards that many other indy's and spas now immitate.
With every industry, there are low, medium and high end providers/experiences. I guess it is all up to personal preference and thank God as we are all such wonderful individuals that require individual experiences.
Anyways, there is absoluetly no costs associated with the meet & greet other then the food and booze you purchase. The other board has had some very fun socials - not comparing our upcoming meet and greet to the greatness of those socials, but its sure tobe a fun time - whether it ends up just being some of us gals playing pool by ourselves or whether 10 people come out to join us - we will have fun

Hey everyone - Saturday was fun and we didn't flatline... YAY lol. Next big event will be our 5th annual Halloween Party Friday October 26th all day at CMJ.
To speak of the high turn over, it depends on how you look at it. Kelly & Nadja have been 3+ years, Justine, Geri, Lola have been 2+ years though Lola and Geri come and go. Vicki and Inara have been 1.5 years, though vicki is taking some time away from hostessesing to focus on the opening of Vicki's CMJ.
Holly, Audrey, Berry, Lilith, Molly & Destiny are all 6+ months now. The new ones we like and are keeping are Lauren, Mandy & Abby. The juries still out on a few other new recruits. lol
We like the ladies to have the freedom to come and go so that their personal and professional development isnt hindered by being stuck working at CMJ all the time. Hostesses like Nadja and Geri have greatly benefited from the flexibility CMJ offers. Plus we always have fun and excited touring gems - this week we are welcoming sexy Aniah from Montreal.
Not to mention, variety is the spice of life.
Turnover is part of the business unfortunately. With our high standards, its tough for some to make it at CMJ and its better for their wallets and my sanity for them to move on. I do not tolerate drug addictions or abusive relationships at home so you can be assured you arent contributing to someones detriment when you see a hostess at CMJ. You are more then likely contributing to their education, personal growth or travel or shoe addictions only.
I have had many faveourites move on - retiring for their chosen profession - Dallyn, Naomi and Alex to name a few. Many have also moved - Trinity, Racheal and Suri to name a few. Others find they fit in better at the other spas for whatever reasons - Ashlynn, Jordyn and Gina for example. Many have become awesome and successful independants - Jessica Massage, Michelle_MA, Sensual Erin, Mrs Samantha and Ameila.
All that really matters is that these women are happy where their lives have brought them. I have been blessed to know some amazing women over the years and I am excited to see who the future brings into my life,
If your fave has left, my best advice is to try a mixed trifecta and try and find a new one
