Anyone else fascinated by Near Death Experiences? NDE’s?

There was a dark time in my life after a family member passed, and I swear the accounts of people who had a NDE on YouTube were my saving grace

there are so many earnest accounts of their experience. Some fascinating stories

I‘m curious, has anyone ever had one themselves? The closest I got to one was maybe smoking DMT when I was young. Don’t judge. Joe Rogan approved lol

Have done or experience it. Been to St Pete's to many times. If people screw people over or to many times and get caught by the spirit police.... you can pay the price.

A bolt of lightning struck about two feet away from me when I was fifteen. It was more than a foot thick.

Most people don't know that lightning has a smell; I would describe it as 'overly sweet', like some pungent flower. It was a startling experience, but not frightening, because the whole event lasted less than a second. The smell lingered for about five seconds.

The lightning does not have a smell. It's the burning of the air creating ozone ... All the things that could burn too. But there was air there was lighting so there was ozone

Ozone has a distinct, sharp smell that some people describe as slightly sweet or metallic. To imagine it, think of the fresh, crisp scent you might notice after a thunderstorm or near electrical equipment. This is due to the characteristic odor of ozone in the air.

What happend to that study where they were putting things on the ceiling in operating rooms to see if patients remember them as they often describe looking down on their bodies from above in NDE?
