France is a poor place for "hobbying": illegal, overpriced, lots of scams, specially strip bar scams

If this is a show, then compare prices to Moulin Rouge or Crazy Horse,
if this is a strip bar, be very careful


If you have plenty of time, I suggest you take a fast train to Germany, to a nearby city like Cologne, you will get a lot more bang for the buck there

I agree 100% - Paris is sex-scam city. Of all the cities I've been to in the world, I've never come across the sheer volume and hutzpah of the scammers in Paris. If you go into a sex club, be very mindful of everything - the girls will try to take you for everything, including charging for sitting next to you. And if you don't pay, they bring the bouncer over who threatens you. Thankfully, the time they tried this with me, I was with an ex UK special forces sargeant.

I once went to a show at a fairly big venue that offered a free drink, and I had gone to the bar to get it. After I consumed it, I felt like a zombie. In fact, the next day, I couldn't remember much of what had happened after I drank it. Luckily, I was with some friends. Had I been alone, I would in all likelihood been tailed and mugged after leaving.

Be very careful if you are alone. Stay away from backstreets near places like Pigalle. The place is rife with petty gangsters. A colleague of mine was hit on the head and robbed while walking alone near there.

Germany a lot better. Just go to a local brothel and pay your 50 Euros. No hassles, safe and perfectly legal.
