I remembering my time in Orlando before COVID and had a table shower at the end of my HE massage. Just wondering if any spas in Ottawa offer this service. Here is a link to the spa in Orlando. Sakura Massage

Adele's old spa (now closed) used to have this. Haven't seen it anywhere else though.

I used to enjoy many spas in Florida with table showers, but the number of spas is dwindling thanks to DeSantis & company's crackdown law on massage studios. Spa owner's mandatory obligation to keep a register of all clients and prohibiting employees to live on the premises are just a couple of things in that stupid law that are pushing spa owners and workers out of the state.

To answer your question: No, I'm not aware of any spa with table shower North of the border.

I know of at least three in Richmond Hill, just north of Toronto.

Wow... never heard of that before. Seems interesting!

I'm looking forward to seeing one of our top spas to make it happens (wish).

Which one? There’s four spas in Canotek area
The asian spa, Sparxx and Vibe (or whatever its new name is) all have large showers with room for 2. I don't know about CMJ (if they're still there).

Nothing to do with table showers, though...

Canoteck has a shower big enough for this.ask them
He is asking about table showers. What are they going to do move a table in there just for your session ? )

This is a table shower, often called a Vichy shower. It combines massage with hydrotherapy.
I have had a few sessions on one with an MA and it was dope.

Look nice...
We should all ask the owners of Ottawa's spas to install that.

That's interesting FLP, but the ones I've seen are a bit different. Sorry, I found no pics but Ill describe it the best I can:
Imagine a shallow acrylic tub, longer than a standard bathtub but only about about 5 inches deep. A drain at one end and the plumbing fixtures at the other. Client lies down while the attendant washes him with the help of a handheld showerhead.

Agree with your assessment of table showers south of the border. There ARE table showers in Toronto but none in Ottawa that I’m aware of …..and I’ve been looking because I deem it a great experience. Best I’ve had was in Tampa Bay - in fact, it was the best overall experience I’ve had anywhere. But you’re right, the crackdown in Florida has severely diminished the trade - that best experience I had was in a spa now closed down. Second best I’ve had was in Dallas. Surprised to see someone post they received a table showers AFTER the HE - usually the table is a means to increase the experience as a prelude. Next time I get a chance to visit Toronto, I’ll be going to one (or more) of the spas offering table showers.

One interesting experience I had (in FL) was when I offered the to wash the MA on the table. She was not sure about the request, I guess she didn't hear that often. Once she clearly understood, her clothes flew off and she was on the table! Next time I went, she said "you wash me first". Best if all, she didn't factor in the time that I took care of her and a half hour session lasted over 45 mins!

Yes, I was going to comment on FlaPenna‘s photo which is not typical. Most are as you have described here - a flat, perhaps slightly inclined for drainage, table with a raised border, and recessed gutter for the water around the perimeter, all water proofed, and a hand held shower head that the attendant uses. By the time she finishes washing the boys, I’m ready.
