Loved Starlost - kind of weak acting but back then it was pretty good. Good concept, not bad effects. Would not mind if they dug that one out of the dust bin and did a remake.

Walter Koenig of Star Trek fame had a role in a few episodes...

I remember it from back in the day. We only got 2 channels back then (CBC and CTV) so you watched what was on. I think I watched the Saturday reruns and not the orginal airing. It was pretty short lived and kind of lost in terms of plot, not unlike the ship itself.

Robin Ward ended up being at CTV guy. I forget what show he did (a talk show maybe?)

Yes, I saw every episode!

It's amazing - as we get older and our memories fade how we only see the positive in things. Cause that show stank! Lousy acting and lousy scripts - but I went out of my way to see every episode. ;-)

Thanks for the trip down memory lane herames, I'm going to download those torrents.
its all good...i'm getting too fucking sentimental...or i'm just plain mental for things i grew up with...this show had a Logan's Run Feel...but i know now this predates it the film...
this has a good list of trackers with the full show

You are really bringing back memories my friend! Please if you can think of others ..... post.

Tonight (hopefully) I'm post a list of my favourite sci-fi movies (remember Fantastic Planet and The Day the Earth Stood Still) and we can compare further.

We're going to have to meet at a club some time and reminisce. First couple (drinks, not dances) are on me.
hehe...some how the 70's was kind to me... even though most of that decade i didn't hit double digits
].... there was one other show "post apocalyptic" filmed in the GTA in the early 80's ... again 2 guys one girl in post third world war. Can't recall the name... some was filmed in the Hermitage in the Ancaster area of Hamilton...maybe not worth recalling as it was a bit sub-standard in script/plot

I distinctly remember him as a really smarmy daytime gameshow host on CTV circa '84..I think it was called Guess What? or something like that..

This show really sucked. But it was not as bad as The Trouble with Tracy.
I know we can't trust everything on Wikipedia, but the first paragraph (pasted below) of the write-up calls The Trouble With Tracy one of the worst sitcoms ever produced.

-----

"The Trouble with Tracy was a Canadian television series produced by CTV for the 1970–1971 television season, with intended distribution by the U.S.-based National General Corporation. It is widely considered to be one of the worst situation comedies ever produced."

I remember it. It was a great concept. The 1st few episodes were good. They started to get weaker as it went on. I lost interest in it. I seem to remember the show didn't last too long.
