Most hotels have day rates, but don’t necessarily advertise them. Give them a call and ask. Whether or not they will offer a day rate will depend on occupancy of the hotel, and who is checking out when, so often you will need to call the day of.
Use Dayuse or hotelsbyday. Either will get you lots of options without too much leg work. You can book well in advance, up to next day.
Before i discovered Now Magazine and then Terb...the Lakeshore Motel strip was my go to....The Seahorse and The Hillcrest....from where i lived it was about a 20 minute walk...needed the exercise lolOh for the days of the lakeshore strip motels! There was a brass plaque with my name on it in one of the rooms at the eagles nest motel. They rented the rooms by the hour.
