I had leaky taps at a washroom sink. Water was coming out below the tap "handles". I replace the internal washers with what seemed the right size but now the water flow is next to nothing.
In hind-sight those washers were okay, the leak was around where the valves screw into the fawcet unit. But anyways, I put the old washers back in, and still hardly any water flow!! WTF??
Any ideas?

That is weird. You only replaced the washers?

Do you have pressure in other rooms?

Yup, bathroom on the opposite wall has regular pressure. :(

Never mind, it was the cock-sucking airater/screen that was clogged up with washer chucks.

Thanks anyways, crisis avoided.

You sure you paid your $20 water bill, Stang????

Dont be embarrased to tell us

Admitting you'd rather go hobbying then pay your utility bill is the first step of the 12 step program

Also make sure you take the nappy out of the head gasket and hose it down.

Don't fiddle with these old fashioned faucets. replace them with the new washerless faucets. They can be had at Home depot for as low as $25.
