That guy is a joke... literally

I won a gold Rolex @ a company Christmas party a few years ago, I'm not very big on jewelery so I went by oliver's to see what he would give me.

He offered me $200, and after heckling with him for 10 more minutes he offered $225, but not a penny more.

I laughed at him, and walked out then sold the watch on ebay a few weeks later for $3200

AFAIK Americans are not allowed to legally own gold bullion.
To get the best price for 24k gold, go to any jewellery store in Chinatown. They will give you the daily price quote of gold.
