Hey, does anyone know any motels downtown toronto that offer day rates? any besides the bay st. motel..lol. thanks.

Is there a suave way to ask for this at the desk? Do you just say "can I have a room for the day please?"

Do they ask why or how many people will be using the room? And what should you answer if they ask how many people?

Gee, I never ask in Toronto but in Detroit it was just I need a room for a few hours, how much?..they either be cool and give you a rate..back then it was $12-$15 ..oh yell at you "get out, we don't want your type here"

I've always just said "how much is your day rate here?" and have never received a negative response.
