Hi,

I would like to go see Roger Waters at the ACC but its sold out on ticketmaster.ca. I know lots of scalpers will be lurking around on the night of the show but I'm worried about getting stuck with a fake ticket. When I googled "Roger Waters tickets" I get back a lot of the these ticket brokers or resellers (or whatever they are) like tickets now or stubhub - has anyone used them before? are they legit? Thanks!

watch out for some of the scalpers at ACC, make sure you examin the ticket very well..if your going to buy from them.

Had a buddy that didn't look close enough at the tickets & got scammed for Leaf game, but he had a bit to drink prior to the purchase......

used stub hub

used stub hub of course you are going to pay a premium. no difficulty, got tickets as promised stub hub usually sends them overnight even if the event is weeks away. another profit center, i guess. also they will jerk you on "service fees" but what else are you going to do? example: i went to a boston bruins game in boston normal ticket price: $40 each i paid $52 each for two tickets. "service fees" $30 so it was $134 for the whole deal. so it went from $80 for two tickets to $134 for two tickets. thats 60% more than the original price. so go fish. good luck.

I used StubHub....

...and while the experience ended ok, I wasn't terrible pleased.

Checked site - saw price.

Went back later (a few days), checked price - gone down!

"Great" I am thiking..."I will wait some more".

Checked price a few more days later - price has gone up....way up.

"Shit"!! Buy poorer quality tickets than I had planned (location wise) to fit my budget.

Buy tickets. Turns out they don't have tickets, they are selling them for some other guy. Wait for tickets...wait for tickets...wait for tickets...

Tickets do not show. Field half a dozen calls from Stub Hub inquirying about tickets (I give them credit for that - they have a means for tracking if you have recevied them). Finally they decide that since the guy they were sourcing tickets from was a newbie, they will not trust him and they instead send me a different pair. Turns out the pair they send me were the pair in the better location I orginally wanted.

All in all it was more of a hassle than I had planned for.
