Because of the NHL Lockout Nik Antropov decided to throw a big party. He made a few calls and invited a bunch of the boys from the Leafs and other local NHL talent. After hearing word that Pat Quinn was in town, Antropov decided to give him a call to invite him over. Quinn offered to supply the beer.
So on the eve of the party Quinn goes to the Beer store and loads up the back of his Ram 3500 p/u with as many cases of beer as it can hold, using tie downs to secure them properly. After leaving the beer store, Quinn comes to an intersection with a car decorated as a Leaf shrinery... ie, with all the Leaf logo stuff such as licence plate frame, Leaf rear view mirror dice, leaf stickers and a leaf flag sticking out the driver side rear window. Quinn beeps his horn and offers a friendly wave, lowers his window to say hi and such.
the car that is full of excited leaf fans is thrilled to see the legend... the driver asks Quinn - what's all the beer for?
Quinn answers, 'I got them for Antropov'
the driver replies, 'good trade'
