Another Semi-Retirement Thread Anouncement

TheNiteHwk Semi-Retires! Too much TERB time at work. That's what it boils down too. I found lately that I am spending way too much time on TERB at the office. Even though I work in the adult biz and being on TERB can be a little justfied sometimes... I have been spending way too much time here during office hours. I thought just to cut back... but have found that it's not working. Must go cold turkey. So this will be my last daytime posting. From now on I will not be on-line between 9am-5pm. So any PMs etc will now be attended to 'after-hours'.

As an aside: Looks like so far Treasures is taking the lead. I'll still be checking the thread after 5pm everyday and will help out as much as possible to organize our Xmas bash.

12 Steps to kicking the TERB habit

1. We admitted we were powerless over our postings to this board—that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to productivity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to employment again.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves, laughed.

5. Admitted to Fred, to ourselves, and to another TERBite the exact nature of our addiction.

6. Were entirely ready to have Fred remove all our posts.

7. Humbly asked him to remove our posts.

8. Made a list of all persons we had shilled, slammed, made fun of, baited into flame-wars, thought ill of, and became willing to make amends to them all.

9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would make us look bad/feel stupid.

10. Continued to avoid TERB and when we were weak promptly turned the computer off.

11. Sought through email and late night phone calls to improve our conscious contact with Fred, as we understood him, hoping only for him not having a way of getting back at us and the power to carry that out.

12. Having had an awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to other TERBites, and to practice these principles in all our affairs. Or marriage, whichever suits us at the time.
