It's coming to a point that LeoList just isn't even worth looking at anymore. The infestation of fake ads is so invasive on that site that you're left feeling icky.

We should open a fund so Bobbiz could post his guidelines to find fakers on leolist everyday so he would educate the LL lurkers to avoid these. People who are not active on terb would not know how to spot fakers and I think it is the main reason why you see them everywhere.

Sounds like a joke I am telling here but seriously. If we could give guidance to those LL lurkers. It might get to a point where fakers would not be booked at all and leave the scene.


I would like to put my first review on terb but I live 2 hours from ottawa so its hard for me to lobby now :(

The amount of fakes is astounding. It makes it harder for actual sp's. I don't know how many sp's actually know about or use terb because I am new to canada, but terb is always an option. The FAT thread is handy. Is there any way Leolist would advertise terb/merb? Idr the other one lol. It seems like it would do both sites good. A symbiotic relationship.

Welp, if people in Ottawa are anything like you or Pulp, I will just go to Ottawa and enjoy myself in the museums that Otrawa has to offer. No skin off my teeth. I would rather pass than service someone like you.

Can't say I have ever been wanting for business here, where I am. People keep begging me to go to Ottawa, otherwise I wouldn't consider working when I take my trip to go see the museum of science.

Not wanting to deflect from a (nasty) argument but.....

1). This thread WAS about Fakes, the inordinate share of them on LeoList and punters losing confidence. Still a valid point and real situation. TERB can and usually does act as a balance (but clearly not a deterrent).

2) In a country known for its tolerance and hospitality, we have indeed developed a real streak of people who hate any immigration (regardless of race, colour, gender, creed or origin). As well as the racists that are always around.

3) I have had the pleasure of meeting Gabryelle (Nerd Next Door). I quite enjoy the lady! Interesting and engaging to talk with, very friendly and pleasant and certainly a focus on an enjoyable experience. May not be everyone’s cup of tea, but certainly fine tea.

I’d be happy to have her stay in Kingston!

So, back to the point of the thread or back to the argument?
