Being a resident of "the boondocks" where there is almost zero chance of ever getting DSL or cable, I have watched the satellite internet industry with great interest. So far, a lack of reliability, a lack of customer support, high up-front and ongoing cost, and lag that is inherent in satellite communications has convinced me that this technology is not "ready for prime time".

I will be pleasantly suprised and amazed if this makes any difference at all.

Another hugely expensive solution to a problem that really doesn't exist.
You might not say that if you were stuck in 28.8k dial-up internet hell like I am.

That being said, I'm not even sure this qualifies as a solution.
