Worked with a guy who was ordered to anger management but was kicked out for beating up the instructor. It was hilarious.

If you have anger issues you should seriously consider seeing a therapist (psychiatrist or psychologist). I'm not bashing, I'm saying that you may have deep-rooted issues that you'll never address if you never address them. Think how much better your life could be without the constant anger. Sometimes just talking about it with someone you'll never see again can work wonders for your mindset.

And if you're worried about being a "sissy" or whatever, just don't tell anyone. You and the person you see will be the only ones who know. And if you're worried about the cost, just go once. See what happens. Then you can decide whether it's worth continuing or not.

Make today the first day of the rest of your life.

Could not have said it better myself.

I never went to therapy specific to anger management - however it was an issue that came up in my sessions for other reasons I went to treatment or therapy if you will... and for sure life is a lot less stressful now with out having that constant underlining anger all the time (that I did not even know I had).

It's good to hear that people who were dealing with anger issues were able to get help.

Of course, this may not be the right forum for this discussion, as there are some people on TERB who think that anyone who disagrees with them has an anger management issue. There's a difference between strongly arguing a position and being angry.

In my view, a person who thinks he/she may have an anger problem shouldn't come to TERB to get an assessment.
