Angels Touch - Mia - disappointing

Long time lurker, first time reviewer. Some history, been hobbying in Toronto for years and understand the landscape well.

Visited Ottawa for the first time in a while. I had read a few good things about Angels Touch and called to see how busy they were for a Friday, told pretty steady, did I want to book before coming? I asked for any recommendations, no recommendations, did I want to book? I checked the website and half of the attendants didn't have photos online. Mia did and I was interested. Call back and booked for 45 mins for $70.

The lobby is non-descript but bright. The receptionist, who is very pretty, started the shower and then brings me in to the room. The rooms are large and beautiful and tons of towels (the most I've ever seen in each room). Lots of mirrors and a pole in the middle of this room. Mia comes in about 10 mins later and looks very different from pics. I find out she has been there for 5 years, I now assume the pics are at least 5 years old. Conversation starts well, both in english and french. About 5 mins in, she stops massaging to check her phone and saying she left her wallet in the common room or something like that. I asked if she wanted a massage but before she lays down, she texts again for a couple minutes while I stand there. At this point she's basically checked out. Lays back, eyes closed for 10 minutes. We wrap up 10 minutes after that and I shower while she texts again, 30 mins into the appointment. I mentioned it to the receptionist and she apologises fleetingly.

Business must be good in Ottawa if there is so little regard for paying clients, I've never been treated like this in Toronto.... Ottawa guys am I missing something?

Unfortunately, your experience at Angel's is far too common for most ladies though there are some wonderful exceptions exist (Victoria, Isabella, Lana). The other experiences tend to he transactional and very impersonal

Yup. Unfortunately it’s par for the course when going to either of those spas. I remember a few years back management reached out for feedback to “attempt” to sort things out but if anything it just got worse. It’s frustrating cause they have good locations, the rooms are nice but they don’t care at all about providing any kind of consistent or expected level of service to their customers.

Suggest trying Body Basics or Sparx. I've always had top service there, the ladies are fully engaged with you from start to "finish". Haha!

Thanks for the review. I was thinking about seeing her. You saved me from wasting my time and money. I was at PS the other day and had a similar experience with Jade who's new. They raised the room fee to $85 and the standard tip to $110.

I gave up on PS/AT a while back even though my first ever session there was amazing. Three times in a row the girl was disengaged and would not repeat. Switched to CMJ and have never had a disappointing session there.

I had two good sessions at PS , maybe PS has a big YMMV. A I am planning to visit PS soon again though but Hobbying is getting more and more expensive eh with the higher door and tip fees.

The only consistently good MA at Angels is Midnight Maya especially if you pay homage to her Greek heritage.

I have had a few disappointing sessions at this establishment and have sworn them off for a bit. If you look at the GFE list it's pretty evident which spas in town are head and shoulders above the rest.

Thanks very much for this review. I've been tempted to see her a couple of times because her pics looked good, totally not realizing they might've been that old. That texting situation is trash, sorry to hear that's what happened.
