There are other reason for wanting someone's handle. Especially for prebookings. I like to read their post espescially reviews and get some sort of idea about possible likes and dislikes, and or just to get a glimpse of how they are as a person. If They have indeed posted reviews I can get a pretty good idea as to what they enjoy, this way I can Taylor the experience to their liking, with of course adding my own special twist and talents to it.
Basically what u say does hold water, I'm just saying that there ate so many Different reasons some of us may ask for handles. Sometimes I don't ask at all , just depends.
QUOTE=roamantik;3850150]"Any username" cool... your own handle/username?:
Back when I joined this forum many years ago,, (under a different but similar name), giving out your username/handle was just something you didn't do IMHO. Doing so let you open to being a "shill" (i.e. writing a good review for extra's and/or a discount), and not providing your username also allowed you to write honest reviews without any worry of the lady taking offense and maybe "black listing" you as they can do on the "other board".
Just my two cents and sorry if I high jacked this thread but I just have strong opinions on this and how it can work against all "hobbiest" in the end.[/QUOTE]
