So another tale of us 'humans' wiping away our competitors as we spread across the planet mongrelizing ourselves into so-called 'races' — supposed sub-species, but without definable or defining characteristics known to science — but all equally capable of paranoia, distrust, and eagerness to form unfounded convictions of superiority and inferiority concerning others.

It's a true page-turner, although I often found myself arguing with him through the last chapters. Now I have to go back and read it again.
