No, you don't need to display your name or phone number to be verified by LL. As long as you get the "Verified Ad" banner, then that means that the pictures have been confirmed. However, having verified pictures indicates absolutely nothing about how good their services are. So far, I've mostly found verified ads have been getting mostly bad reviews lately.
