Amazing what junk is on Twitter mixed with good disaster info
Have been following various Twitter accounts for California fire info and where most locals go between TV updates for current information #carrfire, #redding, #igo (evacuated area near Redding) etc.
Among the good information, there are unbelievable posts probably by Russians i.e.
"California wildfirees (sic) connection directed energy weapons buring (sic) America" with what we call forest fires is a airplane shooting energy weapons at gas stations etc. (sic means how they spelled it!)
Other posts about "Surgical Laser Strikes Evident. No other explanation possible."
Then you get paid for this good content when you promote it on other sites and share in the daily rewards pool. (streemit.com)

And of course many helpful or good tweets such as video of 2-year old "Gracious Gracie" delivering Burrito's each morning to fire crews. Lots of info on evacuation centers, where to get help, Costco opening stores up to non-members in fire areas etc. Or the picture of a fawn rescued by police kissing the officer. And of course lots of terrible fire pictures and videos.
Worst is the #igo which started out about fire evacuation information but taken over by spam - much of it porn from Japan (in Japanese) and nonsense posts. One seemed to be clearly child porn long video, which I reported to twitter where you alert on a post by post basis, but that was 3 days ago and it is still up.
It is so sad that lots of younger folks get their news from social media not the legitimate real media which Trump of course calls fake news, when its the truth about him that he doesn't like.
