AM radio reception

I live in an old high rise apartment building in Toronto. Up until a month ago, I could get perfect reception for the fan 590 am too listen to the Jay's games. Recently the reception is horrible whereas the reception for am 640 is perfect. Also the reception for most other am stations---ie. am 680 is also poor as well. What could be causing this? Any help would be much appreciated . The reception for the fm stations is fine.

Putting the unit as close as you can to a window will help.
