I knew him a little. He was charismatic, colorful, dogged, and contrary. He had a regular column in the Toronto Star, and later in NOW Magazine. And he was frequently on tv, either making legal news or commenting on it. Very much a champion of our escorting community.
Young wrote a pot-stirring book, Justice Defiled: Perverts, Serial Killers & Lawyers (Key Porter, 2003), in which he went after his fellow Canadian lawyers as a tribe. It's a fun read. The dedication is to Lenny Bruce, Abbie Hoffman, Frank Zappa, and his father.
