Anyone have an All-in-One (none touch screen) desktop?
If so, what brand, build?

Or did anyone build a Mini-Itx desktop?
My big desktop sitting on the floor is getting a bit old now, 10+ years and I want to reduce the footprint on my next PC.

Any suggestions?

I wouldn't go with an AIO desktop because you can't replace parts if they break or if you want to upgrade down the road.

I have a mini-itx case (Cooler Master NR200) and is been great so far. ITX boards are quite common these days and I can replace everything in my computer. ITX motherboards can be more expensive though so you'll have to shop around.

There are 2 main types of itx cases out there. Sandwich style where the motherboard is on one side and the graphics card on the other. The other style is just a shorter version of the tower case.

The only downside with ITX cases are that that can be a bit tough to get all the parts in the case and do the cable management. Also, graphics cards are getting thicker so they might not fit.

Have a look at the Hardware Canucks YouTube channel for ITX and other case reviews

Thanks, appreciate the explanation since I'm just delving into the mini-itx world. Cooler Master is a brand I'm comfortable with, most of my towers were by them.
Will check out the link.

How do you find the temps with the case, pretty "cool" or above average?

I have a NR200P case that comes with a tempered glass or mesh side panel. I use the mesh panel. The temps are good, but my rig is getting up in age with a Ryzen 3700x and RTX 2070 Super GPU. I can run games like Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080P with decent frame rate and temps. It's a well-built case yet fairly affordable at around $165.

The case has been around for a few years and has been reviewed extensively. The latest version of the case only lets you mount the GPU vertically though. There is also another version of the NR200 that comes with a liquid cooler, but it's naturally more expensive.

Keep in mind that you'll likely need a new power supply for an ITX case. They're called SFX power supplies and are physically smaller than the ATX power supplies almost all PCs use. You may want to get a PSU that has removable cables because you'll have less space to stash extra cables. You can also reduce the amount of cables in the case by using a M.2 SSD, which plugs directly into the motherboard.

If you want a top end CPU that consumes 300W and a high end GPU that consumes 500W then mini itx can not accommodate the cooling required. There are smallish micro ATX cases, micro ATX motherboards are cheaper than ITX, it can take cheap standard parts like PSUs, CPU coolers, fans, and has good airflow for cooling provided there are enough fans on the case.
