It appears on the surface that agencies make a pretty good buck. Does anyone have any idea what type of money can be made by the agency? Is it easy to hire female escorts? Do you have to be licensed to have an escort agency? Just interested to know how it works.

Haha! This strikes me as such a funny statement. I know every guy daydreams about the big bucks and hot girls he can be socializing with all day but nothing could be further from the truth...running an agency takes alot of work and certainly isn't all fun and games. Also, I think Paul from IT sums it up best...something along the lines of not shitting where you eat if I am not mistaken?

Agency's

I have to concur with Sara. Running an agency is certainly not stress-free!

Also, keep in mind that advertising fees are astronomical and it all comes down to reputation. A lot more new agency's fail than succeed.....it's certainly an industry that has it's up's and downs....Ha Ha.

Cheers!

As per my previous post

As per my previous Steph

posts there is lot of money to be made( Steph, sara
and other may not agree.) But the efforts are also great as with any Biz...

I do strongly THINK that there is a winning formula out there and the exisiting agency are trying hard to find it.. NOT YET though.

There is plenty of Room(more for us to sample from) if you have the right attitude(customer for the Long haul) and an buy in for the SP for the Long Haul.

Recent trends of SP hopping from one to another just won't cut it.
I think I have some pretty good ideas which I have shared with a couple of agencies(U know who U are and U are welcome).

Good Luck if you are planning to open one.
Now who will be first in line.

Lots to consider - Escort Agency not get rich quick ...

... Everybody and his brother thinks they can get into the adult biz in one form or another (usually by opening an agency) make a ton of money, have lots of fun etc... blah blah blah. They usually last about 2 months if that. Some are gone in about two weeks. LOL. Most of these guys don`t have a clue what they are in for when they open an agency. They just have this romantic type notion that they are going to have lots of fun, meet lots of lovely ladies and make tons of easy money. NOT! ...

The quote above is from another thread I started yesterday. I`t a true story I see it all the time. Usually shortly after New Years and early spring. Like I say though unless they have been around for awhile, have done their research and are good business managers... forget it. Start up costs including advertising & hiring costs are just a start. Hiring the right people for each postion is also crucial. Aside from trying to find reliable professional providers, you need good phone people, drivers, managers, etc... often hard to find especially when first starting out. Now a days you NEED a website. Another cost and finding right people to do that as well. Just choosing an agency name, advertsing & web design etc also very important. Then you must choose a formula to pay everybody. % split with provider. Who pays the driver? How do you pay the phone person? (% split or hourly?) Rules, policies & guidlines. Last but far from least office politics and inter-personal chemistry. IMO more staff leave for greener pastures more because of some type of disagreement with management or other staff then any thing else. Not because of money.

So, according to what you say Mr. TheNiteHwk it's a very hard and complicated to open an agency.
I must say I agree with you, and I'm sure there are more things that you didn't mentioned or don't know.
It's a big headache or at least it looks like one.
I tried once to think about it and it doesn’t look like a profitable business to me!
Unless you have like 15-20 girls then I believe you can make some money.
Isn’t that right?

Is there a business where I can hang out with tons of beautiful women, work very little and make a bundle of money at the same time? I welcome expert opinions. Thanks.
