I was coming down tomorrow to see the show, had a hotel booked, now the show has been rescheduled for February because Tyler has vocal chord damage.

Its the risk you take with rock n rollers in their 70s, Aerosmith has done this many times before.

Great show though it will be when it happens my friend. Saw them on the Global Warming Tour and Cheap Trick opened for them and what a show it was - both bands killed it.

I saw them 3 times, once when Perry and Whitford were out of the band and they used the temp guys which were not that great. All 3 times had good opening acts including Rick Derringer whom I think actually had a better performance than the main act for one concert.

Aren't they all in their mid 70s now? Why are they still touring lmao. Need to make those alimony payments I guess.

I saw one of the shows without Perry and Whitford at Maple Leaf Gardens...Tyler is the main entertainer.

Says he injured vocal cords after concert with bleeding. Doctors told him not to sing for 30 days.

Fuck… I am glad I read this. I had one foot out the door about to drive to the Go Train station!

I did that for Journey. 4 of us on the Go Train, and I opened up the App to see when the show actually started and saw it was rescheduled. Try telling you friends that passing Clarkson.

Fortunately… it was Toronto, so we played tourist on Young street and hit the craft Brewery!

Now there's an ageist attitude if I've ever seen one.

You obviously don't know a thing about musicians and artists. They're doing what they love to do and have been doing for their entire lives. If they were terrible at it, nobody would go see them. There's lots of musicians in their 70s and some in their 80s who are still excellent performers.

I've seen some great performances in the past year or so. All of them are over 70 and they killed it.

- Jeff Beck (RIP)
- Buddy Guy
- Sting
- Peter Gabriel
- Eagles
- Mike Campbell (Tom Petty)
- The Who
- ZZ Top

Upcoming shows

- Steve Hackett
- Bonnie Raitt
- Bob Dylan

I've never seen Aerosmith but have seen The Black Crows a couple times, including recently. They were fantastic and set to open. I wonder if it will be a different opening act when they play Toronto next.
