Advice to SP's on Websites

1) Lose the music. I hate it when I open a website and there's music playing.

2) Stats - age, height, and weight. Please show it. I can't tell how tall or short a SP is by a picture

3) When I click on Contact info I hate it when it automatically opens my email. At the very least please allow me to see the contact info first.

4) I hate pop up pictures. I'd prefer the picture on the page change based on the one I click on.

5) Keep it simply. I'm not humping your web designer.

6) If possible, post an updated schedule. It may be a pain in the ass but it may cut down on calls asking, "who is working?"

I'd like to add something...

The writing that is usually found on a website is pretty generic. I think it would be beneficial if the writing moved away from generic descriptions, and cliche introductions. Granted I understand that certain terms and descriptions are essential, but a little creativity and substance would really stand out. I am not expecting TS Elliot, or Shakespeare for that matter, but a genuine description that is actually written by the SP herself, is a great way to get an idea of her personality.

Exactly - it is as if web designers want us to watch them masturbate. you want something that can be viewed discreetly at work, no sound, no flash, just good photos an accurate description and no "mailto:" popups in links.

Slow connection.......

I realize most people have fast connections, but some, including myself, have dial-up. Waiting for a huge amount of information to sequentially squeeze itself through the phone line is a waste of time. A simple picture will suffice and some basic stats and contact information. Movies and fancy graphics should be optional and I do agree with the poster above that you make love with the girl, not the web site.

While on the subject of presentation, I would add that I am completely put off when I phone a lady, or anyone for that matter and get music. No voice----just music. You are expected to wait until the song is over, or part thereof and then leave a message. I don't, I just hang up assuming the person I called has no personal skills and is unconcerned that this is wasting my time.

And PLEASE don't forget those blasted colour schemes . . . some of us are even older than oldjones and anything much beyond basic dark text on light background is difficult if not impossible to read.

While I'm at it drop the streaming background graphics. Show me who you are, why I want you and how much it's going to cost and let me get on with my decision making.

If they are trying to be discreet why have music to me that makes no sense.

my website is in the process of being built, so I can advertise myself and an sp and keep updates of my videos. but there will be no flash and no music and i might have a blackberry version of the site. so it can be access anywhere.

Keeping with the "Work Safe" theme:

Try and pick a domain name that doesn't scream escort service to nosey security admins in case we want to visit at work.

Maybe include a "work safe" version of your site that provides basic generic info that provides no pictures, simple rate info, phone number, generic vital stats, general location if incall service, schedule, etc ... with links to the more detailed and "graphic" info so the viewer can click on those links if they feel they need to see more details.

Hi everyone,

This is actually my first post but I stumbled on this thread and found it really helpful and especially relevant, as I'm currently trying to decide on what I want for my site.. All your comments are just what I needed! Thank you!

I'm wondering if any of you can think of any examples of actual escort websites out there? Could be good or bad ones...but mostly interested in good ones and what appeals to you.

In any case... I've been lurking for a little while but I'm here now and you know where to find me!
