Such mixing of words mistakes are fairly common.

My personal favorite, however, is adding "ize" to a word, e.g. why set priorities when one can prioritize, this has become so common that spell checkers don't even pick up on it anymore.

Um, no, nice try though. lol

Palin isn't bright, let's just leave it at that. Simply because she's too consistent with her stupidity and this just proves it more so.
You sure wuv' your Sarah <3. :D

Gotta love how she spun it by tossing Shakespeare in the mix. Seriously? lol

Considering that 'prioritize; is in a bunch of dictionaries, including various Oxfords, Collins and Websters, I suspect it's passed the the test and is a non issue. I wonder if Palin's faux pas was written that way on her palm or cue card.

It was let loose on the public by the Nixon Administration.

I also love the bastardisation of 'We've got" when it really should be "We have". There is no grammatic reason for the addition of words and making the phrase more complicated than needed.

She e-mailed Glen Beck 'before' she address the general public/media/nation. That says volumes.
Other than exhibiting common sense, it does? In my experience it is common to check with those you trust for advice before making a public statement.

It speaks volumes if Sarah Palin has Glen Beck on the list of those she first takes guidance from.

Beck's name is not one that pops up in the minds ofmost people I know when they think of common sense. Some might say that's a pure definition of an oxymoron.
