Just wanted to point this out because it bothers me. SP's don't preform "Acronyms"

Well, maybe if the girl is FUBAR haha

But really. BBBJ, DFK, MSOG - these are all initialisms, not acronyms

I'm talking to you guys, not the other SP's. I've never seen an SP refer to the "acronyms" she preforms. We usually use words like "services" etc

Some dictionaries suggest "acronym" and "initialism" are synonyms, but I suppose they have more specific uses as you suggest.

Yes, that one works. Although tbh i hear it more commonly said as an initialism ("D-A-T-Y")

BBBJ is an initialism but DATY is an acronym.

I know... this is what bothers me is that it has become common... Like vodka "martini"s... its just not right. Haha
